What is Gram (prev. Toncoin)?

This is the native asset of the TON network, which began as a blockchain project initiated by Telegram's development team in 2018. After that team withdrew for legal reasons in the United States, an independent community continued building the network.

Its biggest advantage is Telegram integration — users can send and receive assets inside the messaging app, reaching a very large user base without installing a separate wallet.

Risks to weigh: dependence on a single messaging platform is both an advantage and a concentration risk. The original project's legal history in the US is a notable precedent. Note also that this asset's name and ticker have changed, so check carefully when trading to avoid confusion with other tokens.
