What is Kaspa?

Kaspa uses proof-of-work mining like Bitcoin, but addresses a core limitation of that model: normally only one block is accepted in a given interval, and blocks created at the same time are discarded, wasting work.

Kaspa uses a structure that lets multiple blocks coexist and be ordered rather than discarded, allowing very fast block creation — several per second — while keeping the security properties of traditional mining.

Risks to weigh: this is fairly new technology, not yet tested over as many years as Bitcoin. Its community and application ecosystem remain small compared with larger networks in the same category.
